AWARDS + SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CURRENT MAJORS

SoA+AH+D Special Achievement Awards
Current undergraduate students are eligible for the School’s Special Achievement Awards. Program faculty select students based on academic achievement, commitment to and excellence in major, and/or financial need. Eligible students are selected to receive awards for the following year by their program faculty in Spring quarter, and notification is by email and letter in May. The awards are presented at the annual Scholarship Reception in October.

SoA+AH+D Graduating with Excellence Awards
The Divisions of Art, Art History, and Design recognize their top graduating students with the Graduating with Excellence Awards at the annual Graduation Celebration in June. Undergraduate students are nominated for these awards by their faculty in Spring quarter.

Pilchuck Summer Scholarship
Pilchuck Glass School and the SoA+AH+D offer a combined scholarship to cover the cost of a summer course at Pilchuck Glass School. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate majors are eligible to apply. Pilchuck Summer Scholarship application opens in January.

Mary Gates Endowment for Students
The Mary Gates Endowment expands opportunities for undergraduates by providing researchleadershipventure, and honors scholarships that ask students to articulate their goals, identify mentors, reflect on their experiences, and actively engage in their own learning processes.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ENTERING FRESHMEN + TRANSFER STUDENTS

The Crabby Beach Foundation Scholarship in Art and the Kathryn Hinckley-Martin Endowed Scholarship are awarded each autumn quarter to entering freshmen or transfer students interested in majoring in art, art history or design. Application opens in July.
