PRINTMAKING

The printmaking program at the University of Washington is dedicated to cultivating the emergence of creative thought and expression through undergraduate and graduate study in the arts. Printmaking majors embark on a journey of rigorous inquiry, skill development, and intensive studio work with support and criticism from faculty, visiting artists, and fellow students.

We encourage students to initiate their own direction, question perceived boundaries of printmaking disciplines, and expand upon their use of methods and materials for the sole purpose of furthering their creative vision.
