An exhibition titled “Centelles>in_edit_¡oh!“ features forty images shot by Agustí Centelles during the Spanish Civil War and while he was held at the Bram internment camp. The negatives were hidden in a suitcase for decades in the French city of Carcassonne until the photographer retrieved them in 1976. A lecture titled “Archives Without Borders: Agustí Centelles and Historical Memory in the US” will be presented by Dr. James Fernandez of New York University just prior to the exhibition opening. Gallery hours are normally Wed-Sat, 12-4pm.
