Faculty News - Painting + Drawing

Jenkins Johnson Gallery in New York City had an exhibit titled On Paper from 10 September - 17 October 2009 that included three faculty: Associate Professor Ann Gale, Professor Philip Govedare, and Professor Zhi Lin. Jenkins Johnson also has a San Francisco Gallery, and it has an exhibit of the same title running from 29 October - 05 December 2009. Ann Gale has work in this show, as does Professor Emeritus Norman Lundin.

Exhibit in Tacoma - Gathering Image, Fugitive Form

Painting + Drawing Associate Professor Helen O'Toole and three MFA alumni--Mary Ann Peters (1977), Danila Rumold (2001), Eric Elliott (2007)--all have work in this exhibit at Kittredge Gallery, University of Puget Sound, which runs through 14 November 2009.

Faculty News - Zhi Lin

Painting + Drawing Professor Zhi Lin has a show at Koplin Del Rio Gallery, Culver City, CA, from 07 November - 19 December 2009. The exhibit is titled Invisible and Unwelcomed People: Chinese Railroad Workers.

3D4M Professor Akio Takamori had a show titled Alice/Venus at Barry Friedman Ltd in New York City from 17 September - 17 October 2009.

Faculty News - Paul Berger

Professor of Photomedia Paul Berger has been named Honored Educator 2009 by the Society for Photographic Education Northwest Region. Berger was co-founder of the Photography Program at the SoA in 1978.
