Lecture – Anne McClanan

Professor Anne McClanan teaches Byzantine and Western Medieval Art History at Portland State University and directs their Hellenic Studies Program. She will be giving a lecture titled “The Borghese Mosaics, Its Gladiators, and Late Roman Spectacles of Death.” This lecture is sponsored by the Division of Art History.

On Tuesday, 05 March, she will give a second lecture at 12:30pm in room 202, CMU Bldg, titled “Bringing the Medieval World to Cyberspace: Strategies and Problems in Online Medieval Art History Pedagogy.” This lecture is sponsored by the Simpson Center for the Humanities; more information is on their calendar.
