The Jacob Lawrence Gallery's mission is centered on education, social justice, and experimentation. It is a space for students to learn and grow as they discover what drives them to become impactful artists, designers, and historians. Since opening in the spring of 2023, the Jacob Lawrence Gallery has already hosted several exhibitions including the 2023 BA, BA Honors, and BDes graduation shows, faculty promotion exhibitions, the second year MFA graduate exhibition among other student shows and engagements.
With the opening of the updated space, we embark on a new chapter, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We invite you to support the Jacob Lawrence Gallery Endowment to sustain the growth and cultural impact of our gallery.
The endowed fund supports the annual operating expenses of the Jacob Lawrence Gallery. Your gift would support programmatic needs including: exhibitions featuring work by students and faculty, as well as national and international artists; student internships; artist and scholar honoraria; and director's stipend.
