Woodshop
Rooms 115 and 117 • ART building

Every student taking an art class at the University may use the equipment in
the Woodshop. Building canvas stretchers, making furniture, and finishing sculpture projects are some of the common uses for the woodshop.

Two professional technicians supervise the woodshop. John Martin and Daniel Howe answer questions and provide technical expertise about the equipment in their respective fields. The available equipment includes: Saws (table, band, radial arm, miter, scroll), Drill press, Lathe, Sanding machines (belt and disc), Jointer, Planer, Mortiser, and various hand-held woodworking tools (drills, routers, sanders, etc.).
