Audio-visual
Equipment in Art Building Classrooms
Lecture Rooms
Four rooms in the Art Building have projection booths and are used for
lecture courses: 003, 004, 006, 317. Reservation requests for special
lectures or other short-term events in these rooms should be emailed to
rooms@art.washington.edu.
Be sure to include all pertinent information about the lecture/event when
requesting a reservation.
Projection booths should be kept locked at all times to keep equipment
secure.
Short-term loan of projection booth keys is available through the Art
Slide Library.
Long-term loan of such keys is available through Classroom Support Services
in the basement of Kane Hall.
Audio-visual equipment inventories and diagrams of classrooms are available
through a Classroom Support Services web
page.
Seminar Rooms
Three seminar rooms in the Art Building are each equipped with two 35mm
slide projectors and projection screens: Art 212, 312, and 315. A fourth
seminar room, Art 211, has an ethernet port, airport hub, and projection
screen.
Current week reservations for Art 211, 212, and 312, and all reservations
for Art 315, may be made on the calendars that are posted on the room
doors. Advance reservations for Art 211, 212, and 312 can be done by emailing
rooms@art.washington.edu.
It is helpful to first check the calendar links on the SoA Faculty web
page to see what times are available.
Seminar rooms must be kept locked at all times to keep equipment secure.
