Image Vendors

Because the ASL does not loan slides to the public, we want to provide information about the alternative of purchasing images (slide or digital) from commercial vendors.

Many image vendors exist. The most complete source of information on image vendors is the book Image Buyers Guide: An International Directory of Sources for Slides and Digital Images for Art and Architecture, 7th edition. The ASL owns a copy of this book, and people are welcome to stop by to look through it. An abbreviated form of this directory is available online.

The ASL has created a one-page document listing four of the major image vendors, with contact information and prices. This is available in pdf format.
