Finding a Job

The Division of Design works in partnership with the UW Career Center to post design employment opportunities on the UW Career Center database, Husky Jobs.

Students and alumni can make a free account on Husky Jobs. Once you have an account, you can search the Husky Jobs database using the key words: “graphic design”, “industrial design” and “interaction design”. In addition to these keyword searches, UW Career Center has also created a “Targeted Population” for the Division of Design.

Please download the worksheet (PDF) that explains how to navigate to the “Targeted Population” field and select “Design.”

When you select “Design” in the “Targeted Population” field, the database listings will narrow, and you will only see jobs that are targeted toward Design majors.

The Division of Design is delighted to be working with the UW Career Center, because their services also include promoting the field of design to employers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.  If you have questions about how to use the Husky Jobs database, please email the UW Career Center via their online form.
