Location
Art Building Room 9 + 10D, and 212
Description
There are three galleries in the Art Building that are dedicated for students in the Photo/Media, New Genres, and IVA programs. These galleries provide excellent installation experiences to students directly related to class work and for independently organized exhibitions. Visiting artists and curated exhibitions are also hosted within these spaces.
Galleries 9 and 212 are larger spaces, and Room 10D is a more intimate space. Gallery 10D has a ceiling-mounted projector, and all galleries have the flexibility for a range of installation experiences incorporating video, sound, 3-dimensional, and 2-dimensional work.
Access and Reservations
These spaces are used primarily by students in the Photo/Media, New Genres, and IVA programs. Other Art, Art History, and Design students may reserve these galleries depending on availability. Gallery calendars and reservations are overseen by Photo/Media Instructional Technicians. Students who wish to reserve one of these galleries can visit the Photo/Media Instructional Technicians in Room 10 of the Art Building.
