The Rome Center provides a unique, scholarly work place in Rome’s historic center, offering outstanding facilities for academic programs from a wide variety of University of Washington departments, including: Architecture, Classics, Italian Studies, Studio Art, Art History, Astronomy, Comparative History of Ideas, Geography, Communications, Design, Applied Mathematics, Education, Industrial Design, Landscape Studies, English, Minority Affairs, Creative Writing, Urban Design, Tacoma Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, European Studies, Law Society & Justice, History, and the UW Honors Program. The Rome Center also hosts programs from other American academic institutions.

While the Rome Center works with the School of Art + Art History + Design, they are an independent department. Their site can be found at the link below.
