The School's Advanced Concepts Lab (ACL) is a resource for enrolled Design students seeking to expand their modeling and design investigations using computer-controlled processes as well as various other scanning and forming technologies. Access to the ACL and 3D fabrication technology is provided as it corresponds to studio classes that teach about 3D digital manufacturability. This lab is only to be used for purposes related to the UW’s teaching mission.

Training
Instructional technicians will supervise all operations in the lab and provide machine-specific training to students. For questions, talk to the Instructional Technician in Room 113.
