Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards
The Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards (OMSFA) helps UW undergraduates develop the tools and personal insights necessary to match your goals with local and national merit-based scholarship opportunities. National scholarship opportunities include the Fulbright, Goldwater, Marshall, Rhodes, Truman, and many others.
Mary Gates Endowment for Students
The Mary Gates Endowment funds hundreds of University of Washington students every year through Research, Leadership, Venture and Honors scholarships. These scholarships support students to engage in activities that enhance their undergraduate experience, encouraging student learning both in and outside the classroom.
Undergraduate Research Program
The Undergraduate Research Program (URP) facilitates research experiences for undergraduates with UW faculty members across the disciplines. URP maintains a listing of current UW research opportunities and national programs.
The Martin Family Foundation
The Martin Family Foundation supports two community college transfer scholarship programs to enable community college students of exceptional ability and outstanding achievement to complete their bachelor’s degrees at the UW Seattle campus. These include the Martin Achievement Scholarship and the Martin Family Foundation Honors Scholarship Program, both of which support community college transfers who will earn their bachelor degree at the UW Seattle campus. Each program funds students at different points in their community college careers. The award may be renewable each year for up to a total of three years of undergraduate support.
