Leo Berk (MFA 1999) is the grand prize winner of this year’s Betty Bowen Award competition, hosted by the Seattle Art Museum. There will be an exhibition of his artwork at the museum from 07 November 2013 through 23 February 2014.
Sol Hashemi (BFA 2009) received the Kayla Skinner Special Recognition Award, and Anthony Sonnenberg (MFA 2012) was among the six Betty Bowen Award finalists. They were chosen from 627 artists in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho who applied for the competition.
