Jason Hirata’s exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery as the Brink Award winner opened on March 26, 2016, and runs through June 26, 2016. He gives an artist talk on April 9 in the Henry’s Auditorium.

The Henry Art Gallery announced on June 12 that Jason Hirata (BFA 2010) has been chosen as the 2015 winner of the biennial Brink Award. The prize is $12,500 and a solo exhibition at the Henry along with a publication.

John and Shari Behnke are the local philanthropists whose support created the Brink Award. The prize was first given in 2009. This year there were 57 nominations from invited art professionals in the Pacific Northwest.

Congratulations to Jason Hirata!
