Govedare Exhibit + Installation

Painting + Drawing Professor Philip Govedare has opened a solo show at Prographica in Seattle titled Sky Paintings. This exhibition will remain on view through Saturday, December 19, 2015.

In 2014, reproduction rights for three of his paintings were purchased for a new Swissport lounge at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Ideal Projects was the firm overseeing creation of the lounge. Aspire Lounge opened at the beginning of 2015. Installation of Govedare’s paintings, reproduced in Sweden on fireproof fabric, was completed more recently. One of the paintings, used on a room divider, is 1.5 times the original size.
