Puget Sound Group Northwest Artists
Three of our graduate students were chosen for scholarships from this regional group:
Erica Elan Ciganek, Painting + Drawing, $1,000
Bryan Robertson, Painting + Drawing, $2,000
Jing (Ellen) Xu, Photomedia, $2,000
National Wet Paint MFA Biennial 2016
Erica Elan Ciganek had work selected for inclusion in an exhibition at the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago, which opened on January 15 and closes on February 13. She was one of forty chosen from more than 300 applicants, and she was the only student from the West Coast.
YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund
Two Division of Design students won $5,000 scholarships from this organization that promotes the development of those interested in the fashion industry. Nathan Chang, a sophomore, and Renee Chang, a senior, will both also have opportunities for internships, mentorships, and networking through this group.
