The Whatcom Museum is currently showing the second Bellingham National Juried Art Exhibition. Sixty artworks by twenty-nine artists from around the country are on view. This year's theme is "drawing practice," but a variety of media is used. The juror was Catharina Manchanda, the Jon and Mary Shirley Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Seattle Art Museum. She is also an Affiliate Professor in our Division of Art History.

Among the exhibiting artists are four alums:

  • Lacy Draper (MFA 2013)
  • Victoria Haven (BFA 1989)
  • Margaret Livingston (MFA 1999)
  • Whiting Tennis (BFA 1984)

The exhibition opened June 11 and stays up through September 10, 2017.
