During the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the Jacob Lawrence Gallery has created a Vimeo channel to continue to create meaningful connections between artists and audiences. It will host artist moving image commissions, offer glimpses into the studios of faculty and alumni of the University of Washington School + Art History + Design, share exhibition walkthroughs as well as documentations of talks by artists, scholars, curators, and designers.

The first two videos include documentation of Marisa Williamson’s lecture and performance presented in conjunction with the opening of Angel of History, and an exhibition walkthrough of As, Not For: Dethroning Our Absolutes, curated by Jerome Harris (on view from March 5 - 26, 2020).

Watch now and stay tuned for additional videos throughout the spring.
