What is a terminal degree in design? What should we be teaching? Practice or research? What is design research? These are just a few of the questions to be addressed in a one-day symposium about the future of graduate design education.

Hosted by the Division of Design, this event consists of keynote speakers and panels that bring together current and recently graduated students as well as faculty who teach in graduate programs in design.

The symposium is organized by Interaction Design Assistant Professors Audrey Desjardins and James Pierce along with Visual Communication Design Professor Annabelle Gould. The event is made possible by the generous support of the College of Arts + Sciences Jones Endowed Fund for the Arts.
