Photo Gallery: Reopening Celebration

Thank you to all those who attended the Jacob Lawrence Gallery Reopening Celebration on November 14. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the legacy of Jacob Lawrence, and we were so glad to share it with you. We are excited to share these photos by Natalie O'Rourke, which captures the magic and essence of community felt in the space.

We hope that you will join us for the 2024 Jacob Lawrence Legacy Residency in the spring. Established in 2015, the Residency is a program supported in part by an NEA Grants for Arts Projects that invites Black artists at all stages of their careers to spend up to 4 weeks at UW to develop new work and an exhibition.
