Alum Emma Teal Laukitis, MDes ’18, and her sister Claire co-founded Salmon Sisters, a women-owned business dedicated to providing food security in their home state, Alaska. From their business venture, they also emphasize environmental protection of salmon habitats, and sustainable salmon-sourcing practices.
