As we embark on a new academic year at the School of Art + Art History + Design, I want to set the stage by outlining just who we are and where we are from. Faculty Searches for 2016

We are inviting applications for three full-time, tenure-track positions. The Art History position has a preferred deadline of November 1, and the two Division of Design positions have a preferred deadline of January 11. All positions have a start date of September 2016. Read more

Faculty Hires in 2015

The School is happy to announce the filling of six new faculty positions: four tenure track positions—Art History, 3D4M: ceramics + glass + sculpture, Photomedia, Industrial Design— and two competitive lecturer positions in 3D4M: ceramics + glass + sculpture and mHCI+D. Read more

New SAM Partnership

We are pleased to announce an agreement between the school and the Seattle Art Museum, wherein all current students (registered majors), faculty, and staff of the School will receive free admission to both SAM and SAAM.
