Biography

Carly Sheehan is a visiting full-time Lecturer in the Painting, Drawing and Printmaking Department. Carly grew up in Massachusetts and lived on the East Coast before moving to Seattle to join UW in fall 2023. Her work has been exhibited at North Loop West, LA, Triangle Projects, LA, Specialist Gallery, Seattle, and she attended Surf Point Residency in York, ME in 2025. She has taught at the University of New Haven and Yale School of Art.
