She has been an arts educator and administrator for Pratt Fine Arts Center and taught at craft schools such as John C Campbell, Haystack and Penland. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. One of her favorite things is to participate in international artist collaborations. Lisa Geertsen joined the School as Instructional Technician: 3D4M (Sculpture) in September 2023. She oversees the safety, facilities, and equipment plus orders and manages supplies in the Sculpture area of 3D4M.
