Professors Curt Labitzke and Shirley Scheier plus staff member Kim Van Someren (MFA 2004) each have work in a show titled Ink This! Contemporary Print Arts in the Northwest. The exhibition opened on June 7, 2014 and will stay up through October 19. Also included in the show are artworks by Mare Blocker (BFA 1982), Joe Feddersen (BFA 1983), Professor Emeritus Robert C. Jones, Kathleen Rabel (BA 1970, MFA 1985), Barbara Robertson (MFA 1979), Sally Schuh (BFA 1990), Christy Wyckoff (MFA 1971), and many others.
Northwest in the West: Exploring Our Roots opened in May 2014 and will remain up through autumn 2015. Among the artists in this exhibition are Dale Chihuly (BFA 1965), Fay Chong (BA 1968), Laurie Hall (MA 1973), Paul Havas (MFA 1965), Eirik Johnson (BFA 1997), Sherry Markovitz (MFA 1975), Philip McCracken (BFA 1954), and Professor Emeritus George Tsutakawa (BFA 1937, MFA 1950).
