Art History Professor Ivan Drpić has finished the manuscript for his first book titled Epigram, Art, and Devotion in Later Byzantium. The book will be published by Cambridge University Press, and the expected publication date is summer 2016. To aid completion of the publication process, Drpić applied for and received a Samuel H. Kress Foundation grant of $3,000 through the International Center of Medieval Art. Only five such grants are awarded annually.
