Whitney Biennial 2017

The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City announced on November 17, 2016, the artists who will be included in the Whitney Biennial 2017. Among them are Photomedia Assistant Professor Aaron Flint Jamison and alum Matt Browning (BFA 2007). Congratulations! Four artists who have given guest lectures at the School were also chosen: Park McArthur, Cameron Rowland, Jordan Wolfson, and Anicka Yi.

The Whitney Biennial 2017 exhibition will open to the public on March 17, and it will continue through June 11.

The Whitney Museum has published a short audio guide of Matt Browning speaking about his work.

CityArts has an interview with Browning about the exhibition, and critic Blake Gopnik chose Browning's work for The Daily Pic in artnet News.

Aaron Flint Jamison received mention in an ARTnews review as well as in a photo essay exhibition tour published by Hyperallergic.
