Biography

Jamison has made recent solo exhibitions at Cubitt, London; Artists Space, New York; Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York; Air de Paris, Paris; Centre d’édition Contemporaine, Geneva; and castillo/corrales, Paris. He was included in the Liverpool Biennial 2014 and the 2017 Whitney Biennial. He has made major exhibitions at Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen in 2019 and Kunstlerhaus Stuttgart in 2022. He is represented by Air de Paris, Paris, Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York, and Galerie Max Mayer, Düsseldorf.

Jamison co-founded the contemporary arts space Yale Union (Portland, OR) in 2008 as well as Department of Safety (Anacortes, WA) in 2002. In 2021, as Board Chair of Yale Union, Jamison lead the successfully rematriation its large civic building to the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation. He is Editor-in-Chief of Veneer Magazine. He started teaching at the University of Washington in 2015.
