The School's Student Voice Project (SVP) periodically hosts meetups where current students learn from alums about life after graduation. On May 2, SVP partnered with the Undergraduate Women in Business (UWiB) student group to bring four creative entrepreneurs to talk about their work:
- Tamar Benzikry, BAs in Art History and Jewish Studies
- Heather Christo, BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts
- Mariah Gentry, BBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations
- Diane Legg, Lecturer in Foster School of Business
The inspiring conversation with these women covered what it takes to start a company, what a typical day looks like for an entrepreneur, the importance of taking risks and maintaining integrity, and strategies for success as a female in business.
Keep an eye on the School's calendar for future opportunities to connect with alums.
