The School of Art + Art History + Design, in the College of Arts and Sciences, has an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Academic Advising and Academic Services. The Director oversees the administrative aspects of the School’s academic programs including, managing day-to-day operations and providing vision and leadership. Responsibilities include advising students; assessing student services needs on a programmatic level and developing new services to meet those needs; recruiting, hiring, and training staff; providing leadership and supervision to the Advising staff; serving as a department representative to the campus community and engaging in key liaison responsibilities; serving on College and University level committees or task forces related to advising; working with faculty and administrators in program management, curriculum planning and implementation, and policy creation. This role works under the supervision of the Director of the School and manages three academic advisors.
