The Jacob Lawrence Gallery presents the inaugural Liberation Book Club. This year-long program series hopes to honor the gallery’s commitment to social justice and to gather community to think about the work of liberation through shared texts, art, film, music, conversation, and workshops. Each month, the club will approach the topic of liberation from several perspectives. Unlike your traditional book club, all the reading and study happens together, and preparation is not required. We look forward to being in community with you.
