Eight students graduated in June 2025 with their Master of Fine Arts degrees and concluded their programs by presenting their culminating work in the MFA + MDes Thesis Exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery. Just a few months later, these graduates are already making impressive moves in their artistic careers. Here’s what they are up to:
Jordan Horton, Kyler Pahang, and Ian Brownlee are featured in Form Over Function at Seattle Art Source, on view October 11 – November 8, 2025. Learn more here.
Jade Knox (MFA 2025) and 2024 MFA grad Amara Eke are presenting their collaborative exhibition Comin’ in Hot at 4Culture, on view October 30 – December 12, 2025. Learn more here.
Kyler Pahang (MFA 2025) presents his solo exhibition Every Two Weeks at Specialist, on view November 6 – December 20, 2025 (details here). Earlier this fall, Pahang had his first solo show, Mirrors and Reflections, at FCS Tanggapan Gallery.
Bonny Barker (MFA 2025) is featured in To Whom It May Concern, opening during First Thursday, November 6, 5–9 p.m., at RailSpur Studios (Level 3). Learn more here.
Maryam Dehbozorgi (MFA 2025) debuted her first solo exhibition, Fly Between Walls, at Mini Mart City Park (September 4 – 28, 2025). She is currently part of Haunted, a group exhibition at the Tacoma Art Museum curated by Ellen Ito, on view October 11, 2025 – June 2026. Learn more here.
Yihan Shi (MFA 2025) is also featured in Haunted at the Tacoma Art Museum, alongside Dehbozorgi.
ralph salazar (MFA 2025) participated in the Emerging to Mid-Career Art Awards 2025 exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art (CICA) in Vancouver, which opened September 11 and runs through October 4, 2025. This past summer, Salazar completed a residency at Casa Lu in Mexico City.
