Industrial Design juniors Charlie Johnson and Matthew Li won an award at the International Housewares Association (IHA) annual design competition this year. The duo created Streamline — a compact, all-in-one ironing and steaming station designed with safety and adaptability in mind. A core feature of the product is its foldability, addressing consumers’ frustrations with limited storage and space for garment care.
As part of their win, the designers traveled to Chicago to present their product and accompanying model at a trade show alongside industry professionals and fellow student winners.
