School Alumni at Seattle's new gallery-led art fair

Submitted by Leo Carmona on

Assembly is a new invitational contemporary art fair organized by a cohort of Seattle's leading galleries. Founding members include Traver Gallery, led by School alumn Sarah Traver (BFA '02), and Greg Kucera Gallery.

The fair’s inaugural edition will take place July 22–26, 2026, at the West Canal Yards. It will bring together galleries from across the Western US with their curatorial programs, artists, and collectors.

Assembly coincides with the Seattle Art Fair, another event we highly recommend exploring. Having two art fairs in the same week reflects the vitality of Seattle's arts community – offering more opportunities for collectors and visitors to connect with a wide range of artists, including many School alumni and faculty who are represented by participating galleries.
