      Biography
Iryna Tofan is a PhD student in the Art History department. She was previously a Fulbright Fellow at New York University’s Museum Studies Program from 2022 to 2024 and worked as a Curatorial Assistant at The Ukrainian Museum in New York. 
Her research interests include 21st-century art, digital technologies in contemporary art, war visual rhetoric, and themes of decay and destruction in art. 
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Iryna is currently based in Seattle.
