We are pleased to announce the creation of the Alumni + Friends group, an alumni-led dynamic network dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between alumni, students, and the School through engaging events, professional development opportunities, and curated communications.
Earlier this month, more than one hundred School alumni and friends gathered at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery for the group's official launch party. A very special thank you to Judi Clark and Liz Copland, co-founders of the group, for their leadership and tremendous effort in putting on a wonderful, engaging event for the community. See event highlights in the gallery above.
At the event, the group unveiled their brand identity designed by Visual Communication Design senior Noah Bernier, under the supervision of Professor of Visual Communication Design Kristine Matthews (also a School alum). The group plans to create branded merch for alumni to show their pride while directly supporting student resources, such as the Free Materials Library.
If you are a School alum or friend interested in supporting and connecting with the group, please take a moment to complete a brief survey. Your responses will help the group understand our community's diverse achievements, create more meaningful connections between alumni, develop programs that serve your interests, and keep you informed about School news and opportunities.
The Alumni + Friends group will continue to engage the School community to create meaningful experiences. Explore other opportunities to stay connected and keep an eye out for upcoming events on the new alumni page of our website.
