Jacob Lawrence Gallery + Steffani Jemison

In honor of the Jacob Lawrence Gallery’s namesake, the 2016 Jake Legacy Artist-in-Residence is Brooklyn-based Steffani Jemison. Jemison is a conceptual artist whose work uses improvisation, repetition, and fugitivity as formal strategies across multiple media. 2016 Design Career Fair

Friday, April 1, 2-5pm
The Division of Design is pleased to announce the third annual Design Career Fair. The fair will offer employers a preview of the 2016 graduating class in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, and Visual Communication Design. Participating firms will be able to host a table promoting their company as well as spend time engaging with students and reviewing their portfolios. Juniors in the Division of Design will also attend. If you wish to meet with our upcoming graduates or hire summer interns, the Design Career Fair is for you! Read more

Art History Faculty Candidate Lectures

Four finalists for a tenure-track position that is a 50% appointment as a faculty member in Art History and a 50% appointment as a curator at the Burke Museum will give presentations. The first one is on Thursday, January 14, at 4pm in the Burke Museum's Burke Room. See the full list of lecture dates and locations in this news post.
