Biography
Christine Watridge is a graphic designer and researcher whose practice centers on health communication, design for social impact, and historical approaches to making. At the Health Communication Design Studio at Washington University of St. Louis, she managed interdisciplinary projects translating complex health and policy information into clear, accessible design solutions for local St. Louis communities. Her work draws on co-creation and participatory design methods while also engaging with traditional and experimental processes such as letterpress, RISO printing, and printmaking, reflecting her interest in how historical forms of making inform contemporary design practice. Now pursuing graduate study at the University of Washington, Christine aims to expand her research into how design shapes learning, behavior, and social change, with the goal of becoming a design researcher and professor.
