Biography

  • Graduated Summa Cum Laude and with departmental honors in both Art and Anthropology.
  • Member of Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board National Honors Society plus parliamentarian for Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity.
  • Selected to be a President's Medalist at University of Washington in 2022.
  • Chosen by the Division of Art to be a speaker at the 2022 Graduation Celebration.
  • Designated a GSBA Scholar and Pride Foundation Scholar.
  • Received a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for Rome in Residence Study Abroad during winter quarter 2022.
  • Selected by the University of Washington as a member of the 2021 Husky 100 cohort.
  • Did research about healing through art in the queer-disabled community presented at four academic conferences in 2021 (Society for Disability Studies, UW Undergraduate Research Symposium, International Bisexual Research Conference, Queer(y)ing the Disabled Body Conference).
  • Chosen as a University of Washington Homecoming Scholar in 2021.
  • Co-organizer of the Seattle Dyke March since 2018 and board member.
