My research focuses on 18th/19th-c. Anglo-American art and material culture, particularly the networked relationships between Arts and Crafts communities, printing houses, typographers, embroiderers, and bookbinders. Other areas of inquiry include the artistic ramifications of the Grand Tour in Great Britain and North America, Pre-Raphaelitism in Italy, and the broader fields of Victorian studies, textual studies, and print culture. I am committed to working with and learning from contemporary book artists, typographers, and craftworkers.
