Anglo-American art and material culture, particularly the networked relationships between Arts and Crafts communities, printing houses, typographers, embroiderers, and bookbinders. Other areas of inquiry include the artistic ramifications of the Grand Tour in Great Britain and North America, Pre-Raphaelitism in Italy, and the broader fields of Victorian studies, textual studies, and print culture. I am committed to working with and learning from contemporary book artists, typographers, and craftworkers. Received support for her research while at UW, including the Allan and Mary Kollar Endowed Fellowship in American Art, two Textual Studies research awards, and the Luce American Art Dissertation Research award. Selected by the Division of Art History for a 2018 de Cillia Graduating with Excellence Award. In August 2018, joined the faculty of Hobart and William Smith Colleges as the Visual Arts Curator.
