THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS EXPLORING OR ALREADY FOLLOWING THE 3D4M CONCENTRATION. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AND ART MAJORS WHO NEED LOWER- DIVISION COURSES TO COMPLETE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS. STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON THE FIRST DAY TO PROCEED IN THE COURSE. NO ACCESS OR NONMATRICULATED STUDENTS.
Catalog Description:
This introductory studio course investigates the material glass and its applications in the fine arts. Examines historical, technical, and contemporary practices. Prepares students for further exploration with the material at the intermediate and advanced levels.
