Explores how meaning, hierarchy, and legibility are affected by typographic contrast, organization, and composition. Prepares students to create dynamic compositions with type, understand how type is used as an image/conceptual visualization, understand the nuances/techniques involved in a professional typesetting, and develop vocabulary.
