THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS EXPLORING THE PAINTING + DRAWING CONCENTRATION. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AND ART MAJORS WHO NEED LOWER- DIVISION COURSES TO COMPLETE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS. STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON THE FIRST DAY TO PROCEED IN THE COURSE.
Catalog Description:
Builds basic drawing skills, develops understanding of primary concepts which relate to drawing and develops an understanding of the grammar or syntax of two-dimensional language. Students move beyond their current knowledge and abilities and link new skills, concepts, and understandings to creative expressing. Course equivalent to: BIS 121.
