TOPIC: LAMPWORKING. THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS EXPLORING THE 3D4M CONCENTRATION. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO FRESHMEN STUDENTS AND ART MAJORS WHO NEED LOWER-DIVISION ART MAJOR REQUIREMENTS. STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON THE FIRST DAY TO PROCEED IN THE COURSE. YOU MUST BE IN CLASS ON THE FIRST DAY IN ORDER TO CONTINUE IN THE CLASS. ADDITIONAL SEATS WILL BE OPENED FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENT REGISTRATION ON NOVEMBER 16 + 17
Catalog Description:
This introductory studio course investigates the material glass and its applications in the fine arts. Examines historical, technical, and contemporary practices. Prepares students for further exploration with the material at the intermediate and advanced levels.
