TOPIC: LAMPWORKING. THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS EXPLORING THE 3D4M CONCENTRATION. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO FRESHMAN STUDENTS AND ART MAJORS WHO NEED LOWER-DIVISION ART MAJOR REQUIREMENTS. STUDENTS *MUST* BE PRESENT ON THE FIRST DAY TO PROCEED IN THE COURSE. NO ACCESS OR NON MATRICULATED STUDENTS.

This introductory studio course investigates the material glass and its applications in the fine arts. Examines historical, technical, and contemporary practices. Prepares students for further exploration with the material at the intermediate and advanced levels.
