He was appointed Associate Director of the School of Art in 2011 and served as Director from 2014-2024. His work has been featured in 24 one-person exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions throughout the United States. Collections owning his artwork include the Washington State Arts Commission, Seattle Art Museum, Henry Art Gallery, Paul Allen Foundation, and the Museo del Vino in Torgiano, Italy. Reviews of his work have appeared in Ceramics: Art and Perception, Sculpture, New Art Examiner, Ceramics Monthly, and American Ceramics. He was honored with a Flintridge Foundation Artist Grant in 2005, and he completed a three-piece outdoor commission in 2010 for Vulcan Inc., located at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle.
