Course Comments:
OFFERED VIA REMOTE LEARNING. THIS COURSE INTRODUCES THE VERSATILITY OF PAPER TO GIVE FORM TO IDEAS. WITHIN THIS COURSE STUDENTS WILL WORK TO ELEVATE PAPER BEYOND ITS UTILITARIAN PURPOSE, UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL'S RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER MEDIUMS, AND COMBINE METHODS OF CREATION TO THINK BEYOND THE SKETCHBOOK. FOCUSES ON DRAWING, PAINTING, AND PRINTMAKING.
Catalog Description:
Introduces contemporary imaging methods, expands traditional drawing methods, and encourages relationship of content to structure. Introduces relationship of printmaking and painting to drawing through monotype methods.
