Directions for a cloud-crowd
Visiting artists Anne Walsh and Jim Melchert will join 3D4M Professor Michael Swaine for a performance on April 21 and a conversation on April 23 (joined by Art History Professor Adair Rounthwaite). Both events will take place at the Henry Art Gallery.

2016 Graduation Exhibitions
Dates for all the spring quarter graduation exhibitions are published, including the MFA + MDes Thesis Exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery. The first show opens on April 12.
Tropical Lab Residency
Did you know we have a Singapore connection? A Sand Point Gallery exhibit by a current student and an alumna shows work inspired by this residency. Tropical Lab founder Milenko Prvački gives a lecture on February 18.
BUY ART + Strange Coupling
BUY ART is working with Strange Coupling to create two very different events, offered at the same time, and sharing the same goal: support of UW Art majors and alumni. Both events start on Wednesday, March 2.

2016 Design Career Fair
Friday, April 1, 2-5pm
The Division of Design is pleased to announce the third annual Design Career Fair. The fair will offer employers a preview of the 2016 graduating class in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, and Visual Communication Design. Participating firms will be able to host a table promoting their company as well as spend time engaging with students and reviewing their portfolios. Juniors in the Division of Design will also attend. If you wish to meet with our upcoming graduates or hire summer interns, the Design Career Fair is for you!

2016 Critical Issues in Contemporary Art Practice
We are pleased to announce the lineup for our 2016 lecture series, Critical Issues in Contemporary Art Practice (CICAP)... As in previous years, CICAP is offered as a class to students at the School and as a lecture series open to the general public. CICAP brings artists and thinkers at the forefront of contemporary art practice to present their methods, raise questions, and engage with members of the School’s constituency and beyond... The School thanks The New Foundation Seattle for their generous support and partnership in making CICAP possible.
